Carelift Zoom Boom Utah

Carelift Zoom Boom Utah

CareLift Equipment has been designing and building excellent rough terrain forklifts since the year 1962. Each and every day the company strives to help their consumers reach their objectives and deliver value because they know the bottom line is dependability and performance.

Boom lifts are available in 2 general types, the articulated boom lift and straight boom lift. Both these units are normally hydraulically powered. Most commonly straight booms are the great alternative for jobs that require a high reach with no obstructions. The turntable on the equipment is capable of rotating three hundred sixty degrees with an extendable boom. This extendable boom could be vertically raised to below horizontal. As the operator is able to steer and maneuver the vehicle whilst the boom is completely extended, it is a very versatile equipment. These units come in diesel, propane or gas configurations as well as 4 wheel drive and 2 wheel drive.

Articulated boom lifts are used for lifting loads up and over obstacles and gain access to areas which were otherwise not accessible. These lift units carry out tasks that straight telescopic booms cannot do. These lifts are almost like the straight boom lift in the majority of aspects except in the boom's ability to articulate. There are different articulation points on the boom in order to allow it to bend in a variety of different directions allowing it to move around any objects easily in the work site.

To be able to maintain stability while the boom lift is fully extended, some heavy-duty boom lifts come equipped with outriggers. The outriggers provide the operator with some extra safety and confidence. Proper training is necessary before utilizing boom lifts in order to ensure the jobsite, the operator and everybody working in the vicinity stays safe.

The boom lift allows for jobs requiring lots of man power to be done in a lot less time. These equipment have really increased production and have changed the material handling business.
