JLG Telehandlers Utah
After spending many years working with his brother to establish their crane manufacturing company into a leader of the industry, John L. Grove chose to retire. His wife Cora as well as John celebrated their retirement by setting out on a cross-country trip using their R.V. After that particular trip, JLG Industries, Inc. emerged and became the world's top manufacturer of specialized material handling equipment and mobile aerial work platforms.
During the R.V. journey, John spent much of the time talking to prior business associates that the Groves stopped to visit along their journey. Sadly, while they visited the Hoover Dam, 2 workers were accidentally electrocuted on scaffolding. Through following conversations, John discovered a big untapped market for a machinery that can quickly and safely raise people into the air to be able to carry out construction and maintenance work.
John decided to take action when John and his wife returned from the trip. He began a partnership with two dear friends when they bought a small metal manufacturing company within McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania. In the year 1970, with an initial team of 20 employees, the trio built and sold the first JLG aerial work platform. Many components of the basic design elements of that original machine are still being integrated into the current equipment
Ever since John L. Grove first came back into town from his cross-country trip, the business has come a really long way. They have dramatically grown since their first aerial work platform initially debuted on the marketplace. Even these days, JLG continues to expand into additional global markets. Lots of innovative machines are designed to help clients work safer and be more productive.
JLG has remained devoted to being at the forefront of the industry. The business takes operator comfort into account very seriously. They strive to deliver in performance, along with safety and overall comfort so that the operator could be as productive as possible.
